Campus Safety Officers patrol campus 24-hours a day, year-round, to provide emergency and other assistance to University students, faculty, staff, and visitors while exercising sound judgement to respond to complex situations. Officers independently document and investigate campus incidents, periodically in collaboration with Plymouth State University Police. Officers conduct property security checks. Officer schedules include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as determined by the needs of the University, and officers are expected to respond to requests from the University to return to duty in the event of a significant emergency. All staff positions on campus support students and will be involved in student-focused activities.
