Job Description



We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Radiographer to join our team in Towson, United States. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality CT scans to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

  • Operate CT scanning equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation protection guidelines and ALARA principles
  • Position patients accurately for optimal image acquisition
  • Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns to ensure comfort during scans
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging protocols
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, reporting any issues promptly
  • Accurately document patient information and scan details in the hospital information system
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain imaging standards
  • Stay current with advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography
  • Current state radiologic technologist license
  • Proficiency in operating CT scanning equipment and related software
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
  • Excellent patient positioning skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to assess image quality and make necessary adjustments
  • Experience with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
  • In-depth understanding of human anatomy and pathology
  • Knowledge of various CT protocols for different diagnostic procedures
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry advancements
