Job Description



The base salary for this position is $16.00 hourly.

As our In-Room Dining Server, you will be responsible for serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring an outstanding and memorable in-room dining experience for each guest. This is a casual position.

  • Deliver requested items in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Relate with guests about needs, and satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service.
  • Retrieve orders from the POS system and communicate any special requests or modifications to the kitchen. Maintain knowledge of all menu items.
  • Prepare the guest check accurately and collect payment or signature, as required.
  • Operate, maintain, and properly clean all restaurant equipment and fittings.
  • Ensure that the food delivery is tidy and keep an accurate par of food items such as beverages and snacks, as well as non-food items like menu cards, napkins, straws, etc. on cart and in storage areas.
  • Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment by using proper skills and food safety guidelines.
  • Check quality and expiration of all items; discard and replace according to established procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in customer service or the foodservice/hospitality industry.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirements for food and alcohol service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
  • Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
  • Ability to lift 30lbs.
