Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri.

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

RN – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)

Patient Ratios:
• 1:1 to 1:3

Experience Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of LDRP experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• First-time travelers not accepted

Scheduling Requirements:
• Weekend Rotation:
– 4 to 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and
– 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule
• Holiday Coverage:
– 1 major holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas)
– 1 to 2 minor holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day)
• Charge RN assignments may be required based on unit needs

Certifications Required:
• BLS
• FHM
• NRP
• AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate preferred

Special Procedures / Unit Details:
• Vaginal deliveries
• Cesarean sections
• Postpartum care in an LDRP model
• Antenatal testing (NSTs; BPPs performed on unit by radiology)
• Post-op GYN patients
• External cephalic versions
• Antepartum patient care

Charting System:
• Epic (required)
